We typically book 4–8 weeks in advance - and weekend dates in Melbourne's spring and summer party season (September through February) go quickly. If you've got a date in mind, reach out as soon as you can. That said, we always check for last-minute openings, so it's worth asking even if your party is just a few weeks away.

A $150 deposit secures your booking. Until that's received, the date isn't held - so if you love what you see, reach out promptly. We'll confirm everything in writing once your deposit is in.

We're based in Armadale and primarily serve Melbourne's inner south - Toorak, South Yarra, Malvern, Prahran, Glen Iris, Hawthorn, Windsor, and surrounds. We travel further afield too, for an additional $1.50 per km beyond 20km from our base. Just include your location when you enquire and we'll confirm straight away.

Life happens. If you need to reschedule, we'll do our absolute best to find an alternative date.

Cancellations with more than 7 days' notice receive a full deposit refund or a free date transfer. Cancellations within 7 days forfeit the deposit. In the very unlikely event we ever need to cancel on our end - something we will move mountains to avoid - you'll receive a full refund immediately.

About a week before your party, Georgia will call you for a chat. We'll cover your child's name and personality, the character they've requested, guest ages and numbers, venue setup, and any special moments you'd like us to include.

This is how we make every party feel genuinely personal rather than off-the-shelf - and it makes a real difference on the day. It takes about fifteen minutes and parents always tell us afterwards how much they appreciated it.

Very little - that's rather the point. A clear space for activities (indoor or outdoor is both fine). Plus, a small table and chairs if you’ve got face paint included.

We bring everything else: costumes, props, prizes, face paint, balloons, and music. You bring the birthday child and the excitement. We handle the rest.

Melbourne being Melbourne, we always discuss a wet-weather backup during your pre-party call. We're experienced at adapting quickly - we just ask that you have an indoor contingency identified in advance.

Yes — without exception. Every Gleefully performer holds a current Working With Children Check and is covered under our public liability insurance. We personally train every entertainer through our in-house programme before they perform at a Gleefully party. We only send people we trust completely. Always.

Professional cosmetic-grade, child-safe face paints — certified non-toxic and hypoallergenic. If your child has known skin sensitivities or allergies, please mention it when you book and we'll advise.

Yes. Gleefully carries comprehensive public liability insurance. A certificate of currency is available on request — just ask and we'll send it straight through.
